Falerna is a traditional, quiet, hill side town in Calabria (Province: Catanzaro)

Falerna town is 450 mt above sea level and most of the properties in the town have beautiful mountain and sea views. There is very easy access to both the mountains and the sea from Falerna. The beach is 2km from Falerna town.

Like many coastal towns in Calabria, Falerna also gives its name to an area of property development along the beach at Falerna Marina. This area is mostly hotels and holiday rental properties and it is very popular in the summer.

The beach at Falerna is a long expanse of golden sand and even in high season there is plenty of room to play games or to rest away from the crowds.
